Welcome note by the Secretary of the Open Foresight Board of the CEIPI IP Business Academy

In recent years, the CEIPI IP Business Academy’s Open Foresight Program has developed into a central instrument for designing and improving teaching for IP management. We cooperate worldwide with institutions of national and regional innovation systems, IP offices and funding organizations to promote knowledge about the economic use of intellectual property. It is particularly important that the program is anchored in the economy. Only through intensive cross-industry exchange with company representatives is it possible to identify the specific needs for knowledge, training and support and to translate them into appropriate programs. I would like to thank the support from industry, research and administration for the inputs and evaluations that contribute to the consistently high quality of our content.

The board’s tasks

Strategic Direction

The Board should determine the strategic direction of the program and ensure that it meets the needs of participants and the IP community.

Topic identification

It should identify relevant topics and trends in the field of IP management that are of interest to participants.

Expert contributions

The board can invite experts from different fields to lead lectures, workshops or discussions to expand the knowledge of the participants.

Quality control

It should monitor the quality of the content provided and ensure that it meets the high standards of the CEIPI.

Feedback and improvement

The board should collect feedback from participants and make improvements to the program based on this.

Networking

It can create opportunities for participants to network to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Promote ISO56006 / DIN77006 standards

The Board should ensure that the implementation of these standards is taken into account in the program.
