IP strategies for digitized business models: Executive IP Management Days in October in Strasbourg
The Executive Management Days are dedicated to the methodical development of successful IP strategies for digitized business models. The workshops will take place in October 2017 at the CEIPI – University of Strasbourg. Example cases from different industries for Smart Home, Smart Grid, Smart Farming and Smart Production are discussed. On the basis of concrete practical cases, the participants can methodically develop IP strategies and learn how these are implemented in operational reality.
This year, Prof. Dr. Wurzer invites you to the CEIPI Executive Management Days in Strasbourg from October 19th to 20th, 2017. Together with the industry, methods and tools have been developed at the MIPLM (the CEIPI masterclass in IP management) in recent years to successfully develop IP strategies in times of digital transformation and to implement them in practice. The seminar is aimed at IP experts who want to get to know this approach of methodical strategy development using concrete industrial examples for digitized business models.
This year the examples Vorwerk Thermomix, Wilo High Efficiency Pumps, Claas Revolution in Agriculture and Schneider Digitization of Eye-glass Production will be discussed. The participants learn to actively derive strategic IP questions with clearly structured tools and to answer them from the business models. With the 4P-Design® and its tools, prohibition positions can be built up in the perceived customer benefit and thus price-relevant, exclusive service offers can be protected against the competition. By integrating the 4P-Design® toolbox into the innovation process, defensible business models can be built in times of digitization and global competition.
