Future of kitchen living spaces: IP management at Blanc & Fischer dinner speech and interview
BLANC & FISCHER Family Holding owns the subgroups E.G.O., BLANCO, BLANCO Professional, DEFENDI, and ARPA. Each of these subgroups is independently, with different brands, business models, and marketing approaches. They are running their own management. The holding generated 1,192 billion euros in turnover and has 8.415 employees.
The E.G.O.-Group with headquarter in Oberderdingen (Germany) is an international high-tech company and is considered one of the world’s leading producers of technology, components, and products for home appliances. The company supplies heating and control elements needed for cooking and baking, washing, drying, and for dishwashers. E.G.O. is most successful in four strategic business areas with “High Tech since 1931”: hot, wet, professional and industrial. The BLANCO-Group ranks among the world’s leading providers of high-quality sinks, faucets, and accessory systems for household kitchens and stands for design, function, and quality. The company is the largest German sink manufacturer and produces sinks made of the most important materials, i.e. stainless steel, SILGRANIT®, and ceramics. Without their own product brand, ARPA develops, produces, and supplies glass-ceramic stove tops with different heating systems for well-known brand manufacturers and retail chains. The company, based in Alsace Niedermodern has not only excellent know-how in equipment production, but also in design, construction and marketing.
Jürgen Eiselt has studied physics in Ulm and at the LMU Munich and finalized with a PhD in the field of Quantum Optics. Joining industry 1990 Mr. Eiselt worked on software with debis Systemhaus and changed 1999 to Nokia where he was heading product development projects in Ulm and in the following was working with companywide technology- and innovation management teams. In 2011 he became responsible for the overall patent management at the development center in Ulm within the global, strategically oriented, patent organization of Nokia. Since End of 2012 is heading the patent department within Blanc & Fischer family holding, a family owned company in the Karlsruhe area being one of the biggest suppliers for the white goods industry.
