Four German Innovation Awards 2019 for innovations from MIPLM case studies
The German Design Council, initiated by the German Bundestag and endowed by the German industry, presented this year’s international German Innovation Awards in Berlin on May 28th. Four times among the winners: Innovations that are explained in the MIPLM case studies on outstanding IP management. The business models described in these were designed and protected with IP design: Stöbich, IFM, Rittal, and Schneider.
The German industry is in the middle of the digital transformation and the case studies of the MIPLM describe the IP design in operational practice in order to take economically profitable positions in the new business eco-systems and to protect business models with IP. The award of the innovations from the MIPLM case studies is a very special honor. This year there were almost 700 international submissions for the German Innovation Award, including industry giants such as Samsung, Bosch, Deutsche Telekom and the Swiss group ABB – as well as hidden champions and start-ups. The focus of the assessment is user-centered – it is about people. The winners were celebrated at a festive gala in the German Museum of Technology with guests from business, politics and the media.
Over 300 well-known companies from different industries use the advantages of membership in the foundation German Design Council (foundation members).
